appearances over genuine faith. He references passages like 2 Timothy 3:5 (AMP), which describes those who hold "a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for
their conduct nullifies their claim of faith].
" Through this lens, he urges readers to evaluate whether their spiritual practices are rooted in authentic devotion or merely ritualistic habits.
