AUTHOR LIVES IN VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA. Rose Inserra was born Rosa Diamente in Spinete, Italy. She arrived in Australia with her family when she was nine years old. Italian folk magic has always been a big part of her life and identity. Her love of nature, foods, herbs and traditions stems from growing up in rural Italy then in regional Victoria. Until recently, Rose produced cold-pressed extra-virgin olive oil on her farm. She is currently studying herbalism, combining ancestral traditions with health-centred practices. As a former teacher, she has a passion for history and passing on knowledge of traditions; esoteric, herbal and folk lore; and all manner of subjects essential to our human evolution on this planet. Rose is a well-known author in the Mind Body Spirit genre. Her book, Dictionary of Dreams, has sold over 500,000 copies. She presents at seminars and workshops, and delivers courses both in Australia and overseas, with frequent appearances on radio, television, podcasts and in magazine articles. Her books with Rockpool Publishing include Dream Reading Cards, Dreams: What your Subconscious Wants to Tell You, Sweet Dreams mini cards, The Gift of Dreams, Mists of Avalon Oracle and Avalon Magic mini cards.
