Where freedom begins with hope, but survival demands sacrifice.
The cage of Krevax has finally been broken.
Charlie Blackwell and Tinik have escaped the suffocating underground city, leading a growing wave of refugees toward a world they were taught could never exist. Beyond the endless dust lies a hidden valley where humanity has a chance to begin again. But freedom is fragile, and the scars of the past refuse to stay buried.
As the survivors struggle to forge a future from the ruins of the old world, nostaliem becomes more than a forbidden drug. Once a window into forgotten memories, its visions are shifting, revealing fragments of a future steeped in ash and prophecy. When a young boy named Talon begins foretelling what is yet to come, Blackwell realizes the greatest threat may not be the world they escaped, but the one waiting to be uncovered.
Far above, within the Boreal Orb, the Orbinian Government watches as its carefully crafted empire begins to fracture. Desperate to reclaim control, those in power will stop at nothing to ensure the truth never reaches the surface.
As ancient secrets emerge from beneath the shifting sands and the fight for humanity's future intensifies, Blackwell and Tinik must decide how much they are willing to sacrifice for a freedom they have only just begun to taste.
In this thrilling sequel to Krevax, the battle for survival has only just begun, and the most dangerous discovery is not what lies beneath the dust...but the truth waiting to rise from it.
