by Cynthia Readnower (Author)
When publisher Cindy Readnower sees an author's eyes light up when their finished book is placed in their hands, or hears the thrill in the author's voice as they gaze at the eBook version on their computer, she feels a deep sense of satisfaction. The author just brought their creation into the world and she helped make it happen. The next step is to coach the author about what to do now. Time to promote the book! That's when she watches the author's eyes glaze over. After a few minutes of discussing the sheer number of books available, the fierce competition and the efforts a savvy author must make to market their book, Cindy realized that the learning curve is just too daunting for many. That's why she created this book, as a means of taking it step-by-step, promoting it in the author's own time and with their own DIY effort, so that no one is hurrying them or making them feel uncomfortable. This book covers it all, from press releases to social media, from creating a website to choosing a subject to blog about (and how), to public speaking and on to using landing pages as a sales funnel, and everything in between. All at your own pace with lots and lots of resources, links and tools to use to make things easier.
