EAting Vegan in Vegas is the first of the new series, Vegan City Guides, intended to help all vegan travelers find the best spots to eat as well as to introduce them to Las Vegas. This new way of helping the vegan traveler find their way around town is to introduce them to the varieties of plant-based activities occurring in Las Vegas, provide some historical perspective on the food industry there. More than that, there is the chapter on the vegan celebrities who are associated with Las Vegas and an informative chapter by a vegan doctor practicing in Las Vegas. Dr. Allen offers a unique perspective on what goes on in Las Vegas as well as how his practice can be of help to the traveler. With this guidebook, Las Vegas becomes a different sort of town that participates in home grown foods, animal-rights activities, and takes the traveler out of the most popular part of town, the Strip, and into other newly developing areas where the arts and culture are thriving.
