The first book is a basic introduction to Microsoft Word and Excel, while this book dives much deeper into some of the intermediate to advanced functionality of the applications.I recommend using this book after you complete the first book, 'Ebi's Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel 2010+ Visual Guide'. Upon completion of this book, you will be an intermediate to advanced user of the applications and able to use many useful functions in the applications.I have used this book with my new staff who need more advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. I give them a few days with the book and ask them to go through it on their own. After a complete review of the book, they will surely be intermediate to advanced users of the applications. I have found this book effective in bringing my staff up to an intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Word and Excel. Staff are encouraged to have the book nearby as a reference in case they forget how to do a function.This book will be useful for both Mac and PC users. The screenshots have been made in both systems.
