An eccentric brother who dresses like a colonial conquistador and a new Tennessee-lawyer-songwriter-boyfriend help Bev keep on the right track and avoid a greedy older cousin who is hell-bent on stealing the treasure and getting rich no matter what the consequences. The stakes become life or death in the bowels and deep caverns of these uncharted, cold, pitch-black caves.
In true California fashion, Bev's mother convenes a group of psychic readers who call on their most powerful spirit guru, Ezekiel, to wield the crucial strike just in the nick of time.
