Author Biography
Alejandro Vázquez Ortiz (Monterrey, 1984) es narrador y editor, fundador y miembro del consejo en la editorial An alfa beta. Publicó la novela El emisario o La lección de los animales y los libros de cuentos Artefactos y La virtud de la impotencia (Premio Nacional de Cuento Joven Comala 2015). Ganó el xxxi Concurso Nacional de Cuento Fantástico y de Ciencia Ficción en 2015, por el cuento «El mono que escribió el Quijote» (publicado en 2018 por Librosampleados), y en 2017 el Premio Nuevo León de Literatura con el libro de cuentos Yonque. Recientemente obtuvo la beca del PECDA Nuevo León. En 2018 fue seleccionado por la Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadalajara para participar en el programa «¡Al ruedo! Ocho talentos mexicanos», que pretende destacar la narrativa contemporánea a nivel nacional.
