Alfonso del Río (Bilbao, 1980) es licenciado en Derecho Económico por la Universidad de Deusto. Compagina su carrera jurídica con su vocación literaria. Su debut como novelista llegó con La ciudad de la lluvia (Destino, 2018), un éxito de crítica y lectores que consolidó su lugar en el panorama narrativo español. Con El lenguaje oculto de los libros reafirmó su capacidad para construir tramas envolventes que entrelazan pasado y presente con una prosa cuidada y ritmo de thriller. Abogado reconocido --premiado con el Forty Under Forty en 2017--, profesor universitario y colaborador habitual en prensa escrita, su experiencia vital y profesional nutre una narrativa sólida, intrigante y profundamente humana.
