Dentro de la iglesia estadounidensede de habla inglesa, existen múltiples modelos sobre cómo iniciar un ministerio de mujeres, pero no es igual para la iglesia de habla hispana.
Aunque todos somos una familia en Cristo y compartimos necesidades comunes, existen diferencias culturales que prescriben diferentes formas de acercarse al ministerio y este concepto se aplica a las mujeres latinas. Lo que se suma a la dificultad de este proceso es que dentro de América Latina hay una multitud de culturas diferentes; por lo tanto, cada iglesia necesitará evaluar sus necesidades y adaptar el ministerio a su congregación.
En este sentido, no se trata de un modelo de ministerio de «copiar y pegar . Lo que cada iglesia necesita hacer es estudiar lo que otros han hecho y luego adaptarlo a sus necesidades.
Como Cristo es la cabeza de la iglesia (Ef. 5:23), y ha colocado a cada miembro en la iglesia como lo desea (1 Cor. 12:18), entonces es Él quien está orquestando el trabajo en su iglesia local. Nuestro deber es buscar Su dirección. Within the English-speaking American church, there are multiple models on how to start a women's ministry, but the same is not true for the Spanish-speaking church. Although we are all one family in Christ and share common needs, there are cultural differences that prescribe different ways of approaching ministry and this concept applies to Latina women. What adds to the difficulty of this process is that within Latin America itself there is a multitude of different cultures; therefore, each church will need to assess their needs and adapt the ministry to their congregation.
In this sense, it is not about a "copy and paste" ministry model. What each church needs to do is study what others have done and then adapt it to their needs. Un ministerio para las mujeres: Para bendecir la iglesia local, is a useful resource that can act as a jumpstart to help womwn develop women's ministries in their churches.
Ephesians 2:10 assures us that God has a plan for each believer and, therefore, He also has a plan for each church, so our role is to discover it. Since Christ is the head of the church (Ephesians 5:23), and He has placed each member in the church as He wants (1 Corinthians 12:18), then it is He who is orchestrating the work in your local church. Our duty is to seek His direction.

Catherine Scheraldi de Núñez es la esposa del Pastor Muguel Núnez y es doctora con especialidad en endocrinología. En la iglesia bautista internacional trabaja con el ministerio de mujeres y en la radio "Eternidad" conduce un programa llamado "Mujer para la gloria de Dios".
Catherine Scheraldi de Núñez is the wife of Pastor Miguel Núñez, and is a medical doctor, with specialty in endocrinology. She is involved in the Women's ministry, Ezer of la Iglesia Bautista Internacional. Cathy conducts the program, Mujer para la gloria de Dios, in Radio Eternidad.
