Ferris Jabr es escritor colaborador del New York Times Magazine. También ha escrito para the New Yorker, Harper's, The Atlantic, National Geographic y Scientic American. Recibió una beca de escritura creativa de no ficción de la Whiting Foundation, así como de la Universidad de California en Berkeley y del Instituto Tecnológico de Massachusetts (MIT).
