Author Biography
Pablo Vierci (Montevideo, 1950) es un escritor, periodista y guionista uruguayo. Ha publicado 12 libros y escrito guiones para documentales y largometrajes. Obtuvo el segundo Premio Nacional de Literatura de Uruguay en 1987 y 2004.
Su primera obra, Los tramoyistas (1979), fue traducida al portuguÃ(c)s e inglÃ(c)s y reeditada en 2000. La sociedad de la nieve, adaptada al cine por Juan Antonio Bayona para Netflix, recibiÃ3 en 2024 el Premio Libro de Oro de la Càmara Uruguaya del Libro.
