Ashley Audrain (1982) es autora de El instinto (Alfaguara, 2021), que debutó en las listas de más vendidos de The New York Times y The Sunday Times, fue ganador del premio 2022 Crime Writers of Canada Best First Crime Novel y finalista del 2022 Rakuten Kobo Emerging Writer Prize, fue escogido por el Good Morning America Book Club, se tradujo en treinta y ocho países y se encuentra en desarrollo para convertirse en serie de televisión. Ha sido directora de Comunicación de Penguin Books Canada y antes trabajó como relaciones públicas. Vive en Toronto, con su marido y dos hijos pequeños.
