Indie wishes for a sickeningly sweet soul of a man who is more than worth her time. A man who appreciates her just as she is in her quirky, dorky glory. She gets a red-headed elf genie named Rocky, Hotness In Spades. In line with his wish-granting duties, Rocky vows to honor Indie by enacting a fitting revenge on her exes. From fantastically crashing a wedding, to uproariously dominating a karaoke bar, they pull out all the stops to show the six doofnozzers who has the power, while simultaneously turning California into their playground.
Indie has never had so much fun with a guy or felt so cherished by one. She doesn't take one second of her now ridiculously magical life for granted. But this run of the mill Genie Client Contract is about to become something more, because Rocky is falling in love with Indie. And a genie is not supposed to fall in love.
Rocky and his friends notice his unusual behavior, from the way he spaces out during cereal time, to his klutziness and dance outbursts, but no one understands what is actually happening.
Indie accepts the rules of the contract, and she knows Rocky won't feel the things she has begun to feel for him. But she dares a little hope. She dares to be the woman that no man liked her to be.
