It should lead us to a friendship that could lead to marriage, and should therefore be seen as the foundation of a lifelong relationship. In love we do not improvise, nor do we venture into an experience blindly. Love grows when we give each other the necessary space to get to know each other. In his new book, Sixto Porras analyzes the appropriate development of a love relationship leading to dating and then marriage, explaining the stages that this relationship needs to have, and the recommended and not permissible behaviors at each stage. The work turns out to be a guide to evaluate our possible relationships objectively, and choose the partner who really suits us.

Sixto Porras es el vicepresidente de Ministerios Hispanos de Enfoque a la Familia. Es una autoridad reconocida y respetada a nivel internacional como consejero de familia y conferencista. Ha publicado diversos libros, entre ellos, Hijos Exitosos, El Lenguaje del Perdón y Cree en ti. Reside en Costa Rica junto a Helen, su esposa durante más de 34 años, y tienen dos hijos y tres nietos: Daniel, casado con Rocío, son los padres de Emiliano and Mateo; y Esteban, casado con Dyane, son los padres de Eva.

Sixto Porras is the Vice President of Hispanic Ministries of Focus on the Family. He is an internationally recognized and respected authority as a family counselor and speaker. He has published several books, including Hijos exitosos (Successful Children), El lenguaje del perdón (The Language of Forgiveness), and Cree en ti (Believe in Yourself). He lives in Costa Rica with Helen, his wife for more than 34 years. They have two children and three grandchildren: Daniel, married to Rocío, are the parents of Emiliano and Mateo; and Esteban, married to Dyane, are the parents of Eva.
