En este libro, el Dr. Nu ez busca presentar las ense anzas clave de las Escrituras que transformaron el mundo, y sus implicaciones para la iglesia Latinoamericana. Si la iglesia va a ser efectiva en transformar el mundo que les rodea, tendr que aprender de su historia seguir su ejemplo.The Evangelical church and the developed nations both resulted from the Protestant Reformation. A period in which God raised men committed to applying the truths revealed in Scriptures to all areas of life. The teachings that these men emphasized and their implications on everyday life led to the transformation of the known world. Unfortunately the Spanish speaking church has not experienced this reformation, and the effects Christianity had on Europe and the United States never reached Latin America. In this book, Dr. Nu ez seeks to present the key teachings of Scriptures that transformed the world and their implications for the Latin American church. If the church is going to be effective in transforming the world around them, it will have to learn from its history and follow their example.
Author Biography
El Dr. Miguel Núñez (MD, DMin.), sirve como el pastor titular de la Iglesia Bautista Internacional (IBI) en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana, y es el presidente y fundador del Ministerio Integridad y Sabiduría, que tiene como visión impactar la generación de hoy con la revelación de Dios en el mundo hispano-parlante. Es además elpresidente del Instituto Integridad y Sabiduría donde también es parte del equipo docente.
Es médico de profesión con especialidades en medicina interna y enfermedades infecciosas. En el área ministerial cuenta con una maestría en teología del Southern Baptist School for Biblical Studies y doctorado ministerial del Southern Batist Theological Seminary. Es el co-conductor del programa de televisión "Respuestas: Verdades Absolutas para un Mundo Relativo", el cual es transmitido a través de toda Latino América y extendido a otros países, presentando una cosmovisión bíblica a una variedad de problemas. Miguel ha escrito varios libros y articulos es invitado como conferencista con frecuencia por toda Latino América y Estados Unidos. Él vive en Santo Domingo con su esposa de más de 30 años, la Dra. Catherine Scheraldi, quien todavía está en la práctica de la medicina.
He is a medical doctor by trade with specialties in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. In the area of ministry he has a master degree in Theology from the Southern Baptist School for Biblical Studies and a Doctor of Ministry from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He's the co-host of the TV show "Respuestas: Verdades Absolutas para un Mundo Relativo" (Answers: Absolute Truths for a Relative World), which is transmitted all over Latin America with extension into other countries, presenting the Biblical worldview on a variety of issues. Miguel has authored sevaral volumes and articles and is a frequent guest speaker throughout Latin America and the US. He lives in Santo Domingo, with his wife of over 30 years, Dr. Catherine Scheraldi, who is still in the practice of medicine.
