Formula 1. Some call it the elite of motor sport, some call it Netflix's greatest reality show. However, you view it, the fact that you purchased this book indicates that you're interested enough to learn more about the sport.
I've been a Formula 1 watcher since 2010 but started to truly understand all the rules, teams, drivers, and tech since 2016. This year, more and more of my friends, family and colleagues started watching Formula 1. While Formula 1 is very entertaining to watch (especially the 2021 season), certain races involved a lot of incidents that required knowledge about Formula 1 to fully enjoy the races. I got a lot of questions and calls from friends asking me to explain what was currently happening on the screen and why certain decisions were made. Why was Max given a 5-place grid penalty after the Monza incident? When can drivers replace their engines without getting a penalty? Why did Max get a 20-grid place penalty when he replaced his engine but Lewis and Valtteri (Bottas) only received 5? What happens under a red safety flag? And how come we had half points this season? Why was Shaquille O'Neill suddenly on the podium? I want to take the time to explain all of these questions and give everyone the full updates on what happened last season and how this may impact and continue this season.
