Dan Shutes is a fifth grade elementary school teacher and baseball coach at Paw Paw Elementary School in Paw Paw, Michigan. He has amassed millions of followers on TikTok posting videos about everyday classroom issues with humor and grace. In addition, his perspective on important classroom topics such as required homework, classroom management, and the academic pressures students face has caught the attention of the media, and of his colleagues across the country.
