In Hawaii, a love story unfolds between Jenny, a young na ve woman, and Miguel. As soon as they tie-the-not, life changes for the worse and becomes a living hell for her. While moving to California to seek a better environment for their family, domestic violence becomes an every day occurrence. At the last straw, Jenny and her two children flee to safety and start their rocky road for a better life.
She goes back to Hawaii and moves in with her parents.
