This essay analyzes the way in which Proustian criticism addresses the key to the resurrection of Venice, which refers to other themes related to sexuality, philosophy (Platon, Derrida, Wittgensteine, Deleuze) and religion. We will discover Freud's rejection of the Proustian unconscious, as well as the opposite stance taken by Beckett and Quignard.
