DIANA LÓPEZ es la autora de la novela corta para adultos Sofia's Saints y de numerosas novelas para jóvenes lectores, entre las que se encuentran Confetti Girl, Nothing Up My Sleeve y Lucky Luna. Su primer álbum ilustrado, Canta conmigo: la historia de Selena Quintanilla, está disponible en español e inglés. También escribió la adaptación para cine de la película de Disney/Pixar Coco. Diana se retiró tras 28 años de carrera en educación en los niveles secundario y universitario, pero aún disfruta reunirse con estudiantes cuando visita las escuelas para conversar sobre libros y escritura.
