When I discovered Feng Shui, it was like finding my personal compass to help navigate life. Like many others, I was initially skeptical... until I had my own experience with it. I've always been 'curvy' and, when I was just learning about Feng Shui, I was working out every day and eating well to lose weight. I was also packing my house to move and put all my large, packed boxes in the least-used room in my house - the dining room. The dining room was, essentially, the center of the house which corresponds to the Health area of the Feng Shui map. As a new Feng Shui practitioner, I was on an email list for the Feng Shui tips of the day. After about a month of working out really hard and doing all the right things but not losing any weight, I got my Feng Shui tip for the day - "beware of large heavy objects in your Health area as it can cause you to gain weight." My jaw hit the floor - I was stunned. I moved the boxes, and, within just the next week, I lost ten pounds! After that, I started trying different Feng Shui cures and adjustments, practicing them both on myself and my friends. As their lives started changing and I got better results, I chose to make Feng Shui a professional career for several years. It's continued to be my first love in understanding universal flow because of the direct connection between what is and what is desired.
