He his passion, however, was the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and wrote many works about his adventures, including Adventures in Alaska and Along the Trail, as well as this volume on somewhat warmer climes. Dr. Paul Rich is a member of the Palm Beach Historical Society and founding fellow of the Florida Historical Society.
