Wendell Swinehut just wanted a cheap replacement for livestock protein. He used DNA infusion to grow 5-pound crickets. Unfortunately, some of those crickets escaped into the Rose Hill swamp and were eaten by predators large and small. The predators, now infused with the same titanic growth potential, began to grow to dangerous sizes and wreak havoc on the Rose Hill countryside. In the town, Men exposed to the infusion tissue have sudden and uncomfortable growth spurts for that special part of their anatomy, causing a bit of martial discord. The confused and frustrated citizens of Rose Hill accuse Wendell of playing God. Until, of course, God steps in.
