All he wanted was a pair of Air Jordans for his birthday but what Cody got was a body and the endless drama that came with it.
Cody was just a young black knucklehead who had it bad. His mother a strung-out mollyhead his father a deadbeat Whatever Cody had he got it on his own. But with the murder of a hood legend hovering over his life he is forced - FRESH OFF DA PORCH - into the streets where nothing is sacred and death lurks just around the corner.
Will the streets turn Cody into a Savage? Or will a young woman's love rescue him from going down a road of no return? Fate is often determined by a man's choices good or bad. Will Cody's fate cause heartache blood spill and despair? Or will the cold concrete of the hood birth a Savage with the heart of an angel?
