He and his wife, Madonna, publish the Hill County Sun magazine and reside in Wimberley, Texas. Sharry Buckner has written travel guides for exploring Texas with kids, including Exploring Texas with Children and Exploring Austin. She also wrote the Dallas/Fort Worth City*Smart Guidebook for Avalon Travel. She lives in Vanderpool, Texas.
