Gather at the Table is a collection of thoughtful reflections inspired by the game of Mahjong and the conversations, friendships, and moments that unfold around the table.
More than a game, Mahjong becomes a backdrop for exploring patience, resilience, flexibility, discernment, gratitude, and the simple joy of gathering with others. Through relatable stories and gentle observations, each chapter reveals how life's greatest lessons often emerge in ordinary moments shared over a table.
Whether you're a lifelong Mahjong player, new to the game, or simply someone who values meaningful connection, Gather at the Table offers encouragement to slow down, pay attention, and appreciate the people and experiences that shape us.
Because sometimes the most important things we learn have very little to do with the tiles-and everything to do with the people sitting around the table.
