Additional information
by Shelby Scott (Author)
What you will find revealed in the pages of this book is the result of another set of choices - choices about being open to all the twists and turns, the changes and chances of life at flood tide. Shelby Scott is a poet, a
priest, and a sailor. Each of those life pursuits is its own special calling. These are life choices that on any day can be dangerous, rewarding, infuriating, or just plain boring. Each offers much and demands much. Each
informs and enriches the other.
"Father Shelby Scott's poems refl ect his deeply lived relationship in the sacred space between priest and other souls. He also explores the margins between God and
humanity with words and phrases which show that he lives in that space faithfully and honestly."
Francis C. Gray
Retired bishop of Northern Indiana
