We all experience some comfort on the journey when not travelling alone. The comfort is even more remarkable when our company has been there and done that. Moses, sensing the magnitude of the challenges ahead, knew this and invited Hobab to come with him on the exodus from Egypt. Hobab knew the way and was accustomed to the wilderness.
Mentorship is about having a helper in our journey in life, love and leadership. To the mentor, it is an attempt to pass down the experience, wisdom and legacy to the next generation. It is indeed a noble endeavour, yet things often go dreadfully wrong. This book hopes to prevent some of these shipwrecks.
