Gilbert's Galaxy, a heartwarming story regarding family, compassion, and love towards humanity. Gilbert, along with his father, are confused about his mother's path towards Gilbert's Galaxy. How can making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches amount to Gilbert's Galaxy? How can folding blankets amount to Gilbert's Galaxy?
Gilbert learns a life lesson by giving the sandwiches and blankets to those who need them in his community. The people he meets are friendly and very appreciative that he took the time to help them. In the end, Gilbert feels differently. His mother explains that the people around him are Gilbert's Galaxy and that special feeling inside is love.
