If only I could walk and talk with Jesus!
Are you under the illusion that the life of a Christ-follower was far simpler for the New Testament disciples and apostles, because they had the privilege of walking and talking with Jesus in human flesh? Perhaps some things were easier-a question could be quickly asked and answered rather than waiting on prayers to be heard. But even so, those who walked with Jesus during His earthly ministry still had faith challenges to overcome.
