Integrating the personal with scholarship, In Glimpses of Eternity, Dr. Ra Heter (aka Patrica Dixon) takes you on a journey to consciousness, that begins with her early childhood experiences during the Black Powers and Civil Rights Movements and struggles with Christianity. In a search for who she is and ultimately, who we are, she would stumble into Black Studies. Black studies would lead to Black consciousness that would deepen with observations made during travels to Africa and Europe. Learning about African spirituality and an encounter would lead to a spiritual awakening that compelled her to look beyond the walls of academia in search of what really is true.
In this work, Ra Heter reviews the literature of some of the world's most ancient secret teachings and knowledge. This review provides substantial evidence of the significant role that African Nile Valley civilizations, specifically Kemetic (Egyptian) mystery religion played in Greek philosophy, Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Hermeticism, Free Masonry, and New Age spirituality. It further reveals African origins of the Jesus story, unveils the Christ, ancient mysteries, and what some of our most ancient ancestors had to say about why we come to Earth, how to alleviate suffering, how to attain the highest state of consciousness, Heaven on Earth, the science of death, and how to achieve eternal life. In addition, Ra Heter brings to light man's inhumanity against man and notes as the ancients have prophesized, that we must pay attention to the universal laws and how we live if we are to avoid catastrophe for humanity and the planet.
