Northern Virginia author June Smalls has been making up stories since she only had pets and stuffed animals to share them with. She writes fiction and nonfiction books that are funny, educational, odd, endearing, and entertaining. Zev Labinger is a visual artist, musician, and ecologist originally from the U.S. but has lived in Israel for the past 30 years. He became obsessed with nature and birds at age 11, and he has been studying and painting them ever since.
