In order to ensure that these conversations are effective, there needs to be understanding on both sides. Parents need to listen and understand their child's perspective as well as provide guidance while also giving them space to express themselves freely. This way, both parties can feel heard and respected during the conversation, which will ultimately lead to more productive outcomes.
This book is a collection of easily verifiable topics of conversation. I am neither a scholar nor a historian, so I strongly recommend that you and your children do your own research; only then will they truly understand the rules of engagement.
