Sherrie Bourg Carter, Psy.D. (Coral Springs, FL), is a nationally recognized psychologist who specializes in extreme and traumatic stress in women and children. She has appeared on the Today show, CNN Headline News, the Oxygen Channel, and Comcast News. She writes as a guest columnist for the Miami Herald's The Work/Life Balancing Act blog, and is also a featured writer at Excelle.com, a popular women's networking Web site with over 200,000 members. Dr Bourg Carter is the author of five other books and numerous articles in professional journals.
