Lynette McCombs sought direction and strength from the Lord when she began a new journey as a widow. As she wrote down years of memories scuba diving with her husband, she began to see how the Lord taught her valuable lessons through her past experiences and how many of those lessons applied to her current season. This revelation drew her to share her life-lessons along with her love of the sea in hopes that others will find encouragement when life is filled with unknowns. His Path Was Through the Sea... A Devotional of the Unseen Footprints of the Lord is a collection of her authentic and transparent stories in the sea, on shore, and on land. Ocean-lovers will enjoy the real-life dive experiences, beach lovers will relate to time spent on the shore, while women and widows struggling with difficult seasons in life will be reminded the Lord is always right beside them. Each story shares Scripture and spiritual insights anyone can apply to their walks of faith and be encouraged that the Lord's unseen footprints are there with them, as well. The Lord always goes before us, walks this journey beside us, and never leaves us to walk this path alone, even when we cannot see His footprints or see His hand at work. Author Lynette McCombs is an experienced scuba diver who loves beachcombing, swimming, and photography. She also enjoys shell and jewelry crafts, competitive shooting, reading, and writing. She serves on the women's ministry team, leads women's Bible studies, and is facilitator for an outreach ministry to widows. She lives in Northeast Florida. Illustrator Lilly Marie is a high school junior enrolled in advanced placement college prep courses. She loves playing the violin, sketching, painting, chemistry, video games, and spending time with friends. She lives with her family in Florida.
