In Paul's Epistle to the Ephesians, the apostle deals with the wedding and marriage of the Son of God to His bride. This wedding and marriage formed the basis for the typical Jewish wedding and marriage and is seen in God's decision to create a bride for Adam and Abraham's decision to send his servant to find and purchase a bride for his son from his family in Haran. Holy and Without Blemish by Michael D. McCubbins, Th.D., an internationally-known Bible scholar, thoroughly explains the issues regarding this epistle.
With this book, you will learn:
- The seven blessings of the Father on the bride
- The choice that the Father made of a bride for the Son
- The inheritance that the bride receives
- The citizenship of the bride
- The unity of the bride with the saved of the past
Husbands can only love their wives as Christ loved the church if they fully understand how Christ loved the church. Wives cannot understand how to submit to their own husbands if they do not know how the church submits to Christ. These essential and practical lessons are given to the Ephesians and us in Paul's Epistle.
