In making these items, kids will benefit from building useful projects using basic tools safely--they will learn to persevere step-by-step to complete a toy or scientific device, solving problems along the way as they gain skills and confidence in their abilities. They will discover that things in life worth having do not come from pushing buttons on a video game.
