Are you one of the millions of adults who got bullied as a child? The kind of everyday bullying that started in first grade and continued all the way through high school? For years I never told anyone I had been bullied. It was a shameful secret I carried with me most of my life. Then something happened in my early 30's which opened my awareness to the possibility that those experiences were impacting major life decisions. When I googled "long-term consequences of bullying" and didn't find much I knew I would have to chart my own course of recovery. This is the story of how I uncovered the shame, fear and anxiety I carried because of being bullied and healed myself from the pain of my childhood. It was an almost 20-year journey of discovery, adventure, and letting go. Today I am free -and you can be too.
