In the life of Jesus we have the perfect model of humility and surrender of the self so that God may be glorified. Understand the roots of pride and the one possible means of redemption from it. We want to appear to have it all together, to be in charge, strong and fearless when in fact we know we are far from it. Andrew Murray was a South African writer, teacher, and Christian pastor. Murray considered missions to be "the chief end of the church." He was one of the founders of the South African General Mission (SAGM) later becoming the Africa Evangelical Fellowship (AEF) in 1965.
