This book solves that problem. And helps parents avoid the two most common mistakes that unfortunately occur far too often: 1. Choosing the wrong surgeon. 2. Not telling their children that they were born with hypospadias, which can lead to psychological trauma when the boys discover anomalies in their penis as an adolescent.
Author Biography
Matt Dorow is a father whose son was born with hypospadias. Suzan Carmichael, PhD is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Bill Kennedy, MD is an Associate Professor of Urology at the Stanford University School of Medicine, as well as the Associate Chief of Pediatric Urology at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford. Genevieve Kilman is a Certified Child Life Specialist in the Urology Department at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. Ed Weaver Jr. was born with peno-scrotal hypospadias and chordee.
