Why can't I break free from my past?
From the ashes of destitution rises a story of one man's journey with ferocity and defiance against all odds. Birthed at the heels of the Great Depression on a tiny Pacific Island, 'Uliti's life was nothing but ordinary; that is until, when he was only four, his father passed away and his world collapsed, shattering to pieces.
'Uliti could not escape this unbearable pain.
We live for today and try to hide our past, yet we cannot escape its hold.
How could 'Uliti forget his humble beginnings? He was born a poor boy and endured a life of lacking and scarcity. A nobody, shunned by shame and guilt. These experiences ground you, deep root you; turn you into a man, even as a child. Yet 'Uliti wondered, "Is this all I will amount to?"
