Following the principles in the Old Testament book of Nehemiah, we too can rebuild. A crisis can affect anyone at anytime and ruin life as we know it. However, the process of rebuilding is what will make all the difference. Often the desire to be restored becomes the focus and the process by which that restoration comes is minimized. Whatever has left you devastated, restoration can come through Jesus Christ. However, it is His joy that will give you strength for the tough journey that must be experienced.
Author Biography
Joy is a single mom of two from the breathtaking mountains of western North Carolina. Passionate about matters of identity and value, she is a professional counselor who ministers to young people and their leaders through her position as Ministry Counselor at Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters. She studied for three years at Liberty University and graduated from Toccoa Falls College with a Bachelor of Science in counseling. She has worked in the local church for over ten years, assisting hurting people as they confront addiction, relational challenges, personal grief and other life-altering crisis. A graduate of She Speaks(Proverbs 31 Ministries), Joy brings the message of freedom and peace to thousands of women through her speaking and teaching.
