When she becomes Dame Imogen, the Royal Goose-keeper, and secretly regains her memories she finds herself on a quest-using the pseudonym Johanna. She must destroy Queen Kathyren to rescue her cousin and then become the reforming Queen Anseris desperately needs.
This novel is based on The Goose Girl, a version of a folktale saved from obscurity by the Brothers Grimm. Once again retold for a new generation.
