Her team --formed by Deputy Inspector María Ortega, agent Lucía Navarro who is more taciturn than usual after her rehabilitation, and Jotadé, an officer of gypsy roots and unorthodox but effective methods who will turn the lives of his colleagues upside down-- has to investigate the discovery of several bodies in a construction site. Nothing seems to connect the victims and only by investigating their past will they be able to understand why they have been killed one by one.
Author Biography
SANTIAGO DÍAZ CORTÉS (Madrid, 1971), guionista de cine y de televisión con veinticinco años de carrera y cerca de seiscientos guiones escritos, publicó en 2018 su primera novela, Talión, que ganó en 2019 el Premio Morella Negra y el Premio Benjamín de Tudela. En 2021 vio la luz El buen padre, novela con la que inició la serie protagonizada por la inspectora Indira Ramos y que ha sido traducida a varios idiomas. Asimismo, ha cultivado con éxito la literatura juvenil y obtenido en 2021 el Premio Jaén de Narrativa Juvenil por Taurus: salvar la tierra. Las otras niñas (2022) es la segunda entrega de la serie Indira Ramos.
