These were trading at around $72 per share but were soon up to $300 by July. When he and his mom eventually decided to sell, they made $78,000 off a single trade in only a few months! The Tesla stock later reached an all-time high of $900 in January 2021. According to a study by Deutsche Bank, a new wave of successful teen traders has emerged during the pandemic.
