What is Jesus and Gumbo? It is the Holy Trinity of God. It's me... it's you...It's all of us! It is God + U (You) + Me = Blessing Others (G.U.M.B.O.)! It's who we are, what we do, and why we do it. Gumbo is our lifestyles, our choices, our businesses, careers, and relationships! It's the good, the bad, the ups and the downs all mixed up to make us oh so good and delicious! (Romans 8:28) It's a lifestyle... a movement... Gumbo is not just us as individuals but all of us coming together to make a difference in someone's life by sharing our lives and the power of the Holy Trinity with them. It's about realness, authenticity, truth and reaching others! Jesus and Gumbo presents: The Cookbook: A 21 Day Devotional began as a blog presented by Jesus and Gumbo that shares life, struggles, disappointments, challenges and successes, and how The Holy Trinity- God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit works everything together by using those ingredient(s) to influence, impact, encourage, and empower. This 21 day devotional takes the love of gumbo and other delicious food and Jesus and leaves you full and satisfied! Ashley Nicole Williams, born on the Mississippi Gulf Coast (Ocean Springs, MS) is a Registered Nurse and business owner of Jesus and Gumbo. She currently resides in Maryland where she attends Truth, Righteousness, and Love Ministries in Temple Hills, Maryland and serves on the Public Relations and Praise Team Ministries. She began Jesus and Gumbo in July 2019 when she restructured her blog to focus on her love for Jesus and southern cooking specifically Gumbo! She opened her Christian Apparel business Jesus and Gumbo Apparel during the pandemic in October 2020 where she creates divine apparel worn to share the Gospel of Jesus and personal testimonies! She decided to turn her blog posts into a 21 day devotional to continue her mission of the feeding and nourishment of souls by sharing her stories with others! She believes that what makes her and others "G.U.M.B.O."(God + U (You) + Me = Blessing Others) is transparency and authenticity--especially in a generation that wants less talking and more walking! She believes God has purposed her to be true to herself and live out her favorite scripture Proverbs 3:5-6 - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do and he will make your paths straight!"
