There are historical sources that the Jews lived in that place for about 500 years. Already found archival documents provide information about Jewish life in Kaushany up to 250 years.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe author's parents lived and studied in Kaushany before World War II and many of their ancestors resided in that place in the 19\u003csup\u003eth\u003c\/sup\u003e and 18\u003csup\u003eth\u003c\/sup\u003e centuries.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAfter he researched the history, genealogy and culture of Jews in Kaushany and published Master's theses in Hebrew College, Boston, 2012, many families who lived in Kaushany or their children and grandchildren expressed interest and contacted him.
