Johnny Apocalypse, Deb, and their companions find themselves drawn into the ruins of Nork, a city ruled by a fearful king who enslaves the people of Pelpia and commands armies of cruel riders. When Deb is captured and the tribe's allies taken north in chains, Johnny must risk everything to save them-even as monstrous Lurkers prowl the tunnels beneath the city.
