Jeremy Taylor was always asked by pirates, slaves, and friends, "How can you praise your God when Hell opens its gates and its contents seem to only land on you?"With every step Jeremy Taylor took, hardship followed. As a young boy at the age of ten, Jeremy experienced true despair as death seemed to follow him by the cover of his shadow. At the age of fifteen, he was called away from his family to be a missionary in the ocean wilderness, experiencing more pain and hardship in five years than most people do in a lifetime. Throughout all this, Jeremy stayed strong in the Lord and made sure to pass it on to his sons as they began their journeys. Follow Jeremy Taylor and his family on their journey from Iceland to the Caribbean Isles, Norway, Madagascar, and Tasmania. The family truly lived out Nehemiah 8:10, "The joy of the LORD is your strength."
